Heart of God Church

Heart of God Church started in Singapore in 1999 as a deliberate experiment: build a church run by youths, for youths. Founders Tan Seow How and Cecilia Chan, known as Pastor How and Pastor Lia, were in their mid-20s when they started, and Pastor Lia's first teens group had nine kids in it. The average age across the congregation is now 23, and young people lead and run nearly everything. The church meets in Paya Lebar in eastern Singapore and is led by a team of five senior pastors. Its GenerationS model for youth ministry has drawn attention from church leaders worldwide.

Heart of God Church reaches 99,410 combined followers across three platforms. YouTube is the anchor at 53,200 subscribers split across two channels, @hogcsg at 51,500 and a worship channel, @hogc.worship, at 1,700. Subscriber growth over the past year is 16.78 percent, and the main channel published on June 9, 2026, two days before this data was collected.
