Charis Church — named from the Greek word for grace — launched in 2016 when Pastors Max and Molly Cornell held their first service at a middle school in Shawnee. They purchased their own building in 2020 and now gather twice a week. They needed a website that matched the energy of a young, growing church rooted in grace.

Kingdom Kruizers for babies through kindergarten, Charis Kids for elementary, and Battle Cry Youth for 6th through 12th graders. Each program has its own section so parents know exactly what their kids are walking into.
Charis Groups
Home-based small groups that run on a semester schedule starting in September and January. The site makes it easy to browse and join — because community doesn't happen in rows, it happens in circles.

A dedicated visitor call-to-action in the navigation with a "New Here?" section on the homepage. First impressions start online now — this one says "we're expecting you."
Online Giving
Integrated giving with Stripe processing and donor account registration. People can set up recurring gifts and manage their giving history — which means more consistent support, less chasing.
Events Calendar
A modern events calendar powered by a dedicated plugin. Sunday services, Wednesday nights, group launches, special events — all in one place so people stop asking "when is that thing?"
