Alive Church began in 2007 when Ken and Tabatha Claytor moved from Washington, D.C. to Gainesville, Florida and started a church with five people in their living room. It grew into a multisite, nondenominational church with campuses in Gainesville, Orlando, and Tampa, plus a location in Criciuma, Brazil. The Orlando campus launched in 2019 near the Florida Mall. The Claytors lead the church together, and Ken Claytor has built a teaching and podcast presence under his own name alongside the church brand.
