GMS Church

GMS Church, short for Gereja Mawar Sharon, is a Pentecostal multisite church headquartered in Surabaya, Indonesia, led by Pastor Philip Mantofa. Mantofa, born in Surabaya in 1974, returned to Indonesia in 1998 after theological training in Canada. The church he leads has grown toward 100,000 members across congregations in Indonesia, Asia, Australia, Europe, and America, with a stated vision of 1,000 local churches and one million disciples. It is one of the strongest church brands in Southeast Asia.

GMS ranks 23rd with an influence score of 71.3 and a combined reach of 617,375 followers. The church runs a true brand family online. YouTube totals 409,900 subscribers across two accounts, @GMSChurch at 355,000 and @gmssby at 54,900, and grew 21.58 percent in the past year.
