VOUS Church

VOUS Church in Miami, Florida, launched on September 15, 2015, in a Wynwood middle school under Rich Wilkerson Jr. and his wife DawnChere. The church grew out of The Rendezvous, a young adult ministry Wilkerson built inside his father's Trinity Church from a dozen attendees to over 1,000. Wilkerson drew national attention after officiating Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 2014 wedding, and VOUS has been one of the most culturally visible churches in America since. A 32 million dollar campus renovation was announced in 2025.

VOUS is one of the few churches in the index active on all four major platforms, with 710,691 combined followers. Instagram leads at 325,691 followers on a verified account, ahead of YouTube's 294,000 subscribers. TikTok adds 50,000 and Facebook 41,000. YouTube grew 4.26 percent over the past year, with content published as recently as June 10. The Instagram-first shape is distinctive: most churches at this reach level are YouTube-heavy, but VOUS built its audience on the platform where Miami lives.

That is the trade-off of early dominance: VOUS captured the aesthetic-church audience years before competitors, and the easy growth is gone. The 50,000 TikTok following is the asset to watch. It is small relative to the Instagram base, and it is the most plausible source of the next growth wave.
