Seacoast Church

Seacoast Church started in February 1988, when Greg Surratt and a team from Northwood Assembly gathered about 100 people in an apartment clubhouse in the Charleston, South Carolina area. The church was built to reach the unchurched and became one of the first congregations in America to pioneer the multisite model. Based in Mount Pleasant, the non-denominational church now has 15 locations across the Carolinas and weekly attendance around 14,000. Josh Surratt, Greg's son, serves as lead pastor, while Greg remains founding pastor and co-founded the Association of Related Churches, a planting network behind more than 900 churches.
